The day is here!
The day is here. First of December and it is cold. There was a little snow cover leaving my apartment yesterday morning, and a few flurries while out with Lola, but the chill is continuing
The day is here . The final Occupational Health Appointment @ The Light Surgery (the light surgery - I always thought it was heavy man!) Setting off from here in Wby at 7:30-ish and back to Leeds.
The day is here? The final backwards and forth doing only one thing? X99, X98 or number 7, to Leeds or Wetherby, daily(once or twice daily). Lola no longer needs me like she did. She's the love of my life, but she's now a senior girl and it's obvious! She's even decided she wants to be in her basket where it was on the sofa or seat in the living room before; bless her? She loves to be nestled and warm. She loves to be tucked up with a throw over her.
Once I return really have to connect with the people in England who are there for other 'potential' pilgrims? Through the FB groups, but also in a direct face to face(dare I say Facetime to Facetime(Zoom to Zoom)). There is a Christmas Social in Manchester on the 9th for the Ultreïa Mancunia which I'd love to attend, but Santiago is ten days from Porto(and Fisterra another 4)...
So who will be leaving from Porto on Saturday or Sunday? I could postpone it a day? I arrive late on Friday and have no ideas what's the fuss about Porto (it looks majestic, but I've only really passed through) ...
Who will be leaving from Porto on Saturday(2nd) or Sunday(3rd) of this early advent period? Hands in the air ...
Mother and I shared a fish each, which I collected from The Frying Pan on North Street, in Wetherby, the locals' chippy (The Wetherby Whaler is known all through the land, but The Frying Pan has never left me down), after I'd had six halves in two hours, keeping warm and getting 'bah humbug' about Bryan Adams in The Mews (beer good, music awful).
